The River Community Church does its best to mirror the beliefs of the Early Church as showcased in the Bible. We believe that God created this world for us as humans and gave us freedom of choice, and yet we chose sin. God in his benevolence sent his son Jesus to die for our sins. Because he was both fully God and fully man, Jesus was able to take on our sins personally and pay the price of death. After he died, he rose again in three days, spent time with the disciples, and then rose back up into heaven to be seated at the right hand of God. As Christians, it is our duty to be disciples and make disciples. The River strives for outreach in our community so that we can be a light for the people of Douglas, Blackstone Valley, Massachusetts, and throughout the whole world.
